Thanks. I appreciate your sharing the experience. I take meloxicam which keeps it pretty much under control. But it is slowly getting worse. One reason I have postponed the surgery is studies that show a certain number of disk injuries get better on their own if you are careful with your back. I doubt that will be the case with me. Too many years of very heavy lifting in youth :)

My fishing buddy who is now passed on had 6 back operations. If he would have had one more he said he'd like a zipper installed.
