Fran, Our Greyhound station here in this town is kept quite clean and orderly. Of course, it doesn't hurt one whit that there are county sheriff and city police substations located smack dab in the middle of our Greyhound station.

"YOU... must have been at the Greyhound station at night, of course, for only the select few have seen you during the day <wink>"
Actually, I was at the Las Vegas Greyhound station extra early in the morning, barely the crack of dawn. The bus between Las Vegas and Northern Nevada runs only once a day, each way. I had to get back to my "day job" that night and couldn't afford to miss the bus home.

I would prefer the Amtrak. I find train travel quite pleasurable and relaxing but, alas and alack, the tracks don't go there from here. All in all, though, Greyhound is not a bad way to go these days and, at least for me, it certainly beats flying.

"I am thinking you must be one of those beautiful night creatures who inhabit books and make dreams come true :)"
Why, thank ye kindly! I'd like to think so. Oh, and the same back atcha. <g>

I'll try to get over the the long-dead Pun thread sometime soon.

In the meantime, here's another great one from the SI Graveyard, if you weren't aware of it.

Lots of really good stuff on that thread. But lots of chaff among the wheat too.

I was one of that thread's major contributors in its heyday. I'm sure my endeavors there made my parents very proud of me! <g> - Holly
