In watching Auschwitz in two segments on PBS I was reminded again of the bigotry, trumped biases against the Jews that the Nazi's employed as part of their propaganda campaign of hate to build up anti Semitism.. back in the thirties. I think it behooves us today to test out our own prejudices and see whether we are slipping back into blame against an entire State of Israel..

When I opened my mail, including my paycheck from that evil empire, AIPAC, I got a bonus, plus, of all things a long over due promotion from schmuck to schmendrick---they called it, of all things: " inordinate waste of time duty bonus conversing with an endangered species." I really think they were a little harsh when they likened you to the transition that took place millenia ago when troglodytes were replaced by the neanderthal and subsequently, cro-magnon, etc., etc. So, as I usually do with half of my tax return, I sent my bonus check to PETA ( sorry, JLA ). As far as Nadine is concerned, who you continue to derisively call Nazane, I know who she is but never have had the pleasure of receiving or sending her a post, as of yet. But since she shimmers with an articulation of history in a present day context I could never do, even in my wildest dreams, I thank you for bestowing upon me an accolade I don't deserve. Her team requires, I suspect, a minimum I.Q. of 150. Even adding you're score to mine, I don't think I'd make it. The only thing that makes me uneasy is that promotion; upon rethinking it, I get the queasy feeling I was being insulted. lazarre
