Did you know that the land-line phone tap laws do not apply to the VoIP phone services that many people now use? The wire-tap laws have not kept up with internet technologies. I know that most people have absolutely no clue that this is a fact. I know the company I work for has a division that exploits that fact. I was touring that division recently, asked the question and they admitted to it. But of course, it is "legal". Tapping your VoIP phone is legal and requires no authorization whatsoever.

Folks, I know a lot more about this invasion of privacy stuff than I can say publicly. This is one reason I am very upset. It is a very ugly picture that in my view is undermining our Democracy and the privacy laws that took decades to get put in place.
