so you bought a place? Yeah, I finally bought a place. I figured no matter what I do in the future its probably a good bet......the Seattle economy remains really strong. Its one of the strongest in the country and the median housing price in the metro area was up 10% last month. Seattle is on the west side of the metro area. However, its the east side where MSFT is located that has the more expensive housing......and recently, its really taken off. Its median is nearly as high as LA's. While I like living here as apparently others do, it still amazes me that we don't reach a point where people get fed up with the coasts and starting moving into the interior of the country where its less expensive.
