By the report, Canada has reduced the naked shorting problem. That is good. I mentioned months ago that Canada was placing more emphasis on this than US regulators when they took the FIRST SHO related enforcement case - not the US. Fact remains, the level of FTD's is still tremendously high as proven by the FOIA data. That just means the fails are not frequenting out of Canada so much.
