WE ARE THE MOST BLESSED PEOPLE ON EARTH. WE SHOULD THANK GOD SEVERAL TIMES EVERY DAY. Absolutely correct, and I don't hesitate to give thanks several times a day. I'm attending a church service this morning to do just that. I had a conversation earlier this morning with a very close friend. Both of us are "right wingers" and not happy. Our unhappiness stems from our belief that a Republican dominated congress and White House got very little done when they had the chance. I'll grant you, all the good things mentioned in that e-mail are valid. We do take most of them for granted. But, you have to wonder how much better things could be if progress was made concerning our immigration mess, overly complex tax codes, leaving the wrong man to head up the Iraq situation far too long and the list goes on. We have it better here in the USA than any place on earth. The unhappiness stems from knowing it could still be better for nearly all of us, and our government didn't make it so. It doesn't look to me like it will get better, considering the candidates we're being asked to choose our new leadership from. Sorry for the rant.... I feel better now.
