That was a quote from someone else.

Which you bolded, and included at the front and the back of the post. Maybe it was repeated in the original, but you bolded it both times. Its was the point you raised the strongest.

And even if it was not bolded and was buried deep in the middle of what you quoted, it was raised, and I answered it. It is a rather silly and potentially greatly destructive idea.

If you want to argue with Pat Buchanan, find Pat Buchanan.

If you quote him, or anyone else, there isn't any reason for me not to respond to what you quote.

As for responding to what you did say - I already did.

I don't agree, at least not if you mean that statement to be universally correct. Its better for countries to trade and buy from more efficient producers.
