Golly, now you're just as bad as the Japanese imperialists ... o.O

Frankly the bombing of the two cities had little to do with retribution and all to do with the calculated outcome of an American invasion of Japan and the resulting expected loss of American lives. So Truman traded soldiers' lives for Japanese lives instead...unfortunately nukes don't discriminate between soldiers and children. Truman's decision has a logic to it however cold hearted , as a christian you rationalize the act in terms of the suffering of your ethnic country at the hand of the Japanese...your religious affiliation seems to give folks like you that ambiguous flexibility, but Jesus does no such thing...therein lies the inconsistency of your position.

It's quite strange that this is a significant struggle for us "non believers" but it is not for you people of faith.
