Iraq is another fine example supporting free access to guns. Bush, Cheney and Rove got much more than they bargained for by trying to push around the people of Iraq. Even the US military has no hope of controlling a populace that is heavily armed. No country in the world would invade the US for the exact same reason. As long as people like Bush, Cheney, and Rove are calling the shots, there is no way the american people will consider disarming themselves.

I worked with a ton of israelis 3 years ago in a startup company. I don't need to research israel. Just the fact that you would propose israel as some sort of an ideal on gun laws, is absurd. I don't want to live in Israel. Neither did the executives I worked with. None of them wanted to own guns here in California. I don't want cheerleaders owning guns so they can kill the other team. I don't want horny teenage boys owning guns so they can rape my daughters walking home from school. I don't want the pissed off driver in the safeway parkeing lot owning a gun so they can shoot me when I inadvertently cut them off and don't mean to. ETC ETC. This is JUST OBVIOUS. Yes all the macho men here think they are real men because they love guns. Then there is a pseudo male "Mulholland Drive" aka Ms Peel who also loves guns. Its gross. Ask yourself this question- do you want your teenage daughter and or her boyfriend to own a gun? yes or no. If the answer is NO then conceal carry laws are a BAD IDEA.
