Saudis must take over gaza and make it work.

?? Why Saudis? Do you realize there are a few countries between Gaza and Saudi? If Gaza were to join with one it should be its neighbor Egypt.

But, that's never going to happen because it implies the Egyptians are giving up the 70 year fight against the loss "Arab land" to Israel. What should happen is the Gazaites say to the rest of the Arab world "Screw you, we're sick of being your proxy, we accept Israel and now we are independent Gaza. Let the other worldwide displaced Palestinians that want their right to return to live inside Israel fight for it, we're living here, in Gazastan. Now, somebody please send us some aid to build infrastructure!"

The Saudis can barely run their own country, what makes you think they can manage Gaza? And what in the world makes you think the Gazaites would be at all inclined to be royal subjects of the Saudi monarchy?
