If we did put an additional 2 million firearms on college campuses for just about every student, we would be assured several thousand more successful gun suicides and domestic dispute homicides every year. They go along with more guns inevitably. All that on the off chance that one of those two million guns would stop the next Cho out there. Not a good idea - which is why I doubt more than a handful of universities and colleges will opt for looser gun laws over tighter controls.
