How many students at Berkeley? They have 77 police officers.

I think there are about 30k, at least there was about that number 20 years ago.....

My point is the university waited for two hours before sending the email of the first shooting. Why wasn't it sent immediately? Two hours to find someone to take responsibility to sent it? Two hours to have a meeting to decide when to meet to do something in the meeting?

Sure, sending an email could have gone out ASAP. But the idea of locking down a campus of 25k over a murder in a dorm room is an over-reaction, if you ask me. My hunch is the police thought they had a normal murderer, and he happened to commit his crime in a dorm instead of a bar or a living room, they had no reason to expect a homicidal maniac with a two hour time bomb. That's what I would have though had I been in their shoes.
