I am not wholly against such testing, in fact to get a concealed permit I already took some tests, gave finger prints etc. Do you think we should have a database of mental illness accessible to the NICS check process? How much mental health information should be available and when does it cross the line in terms of privacy for you? I am not sure about the mental health matter. It's a difficult problem. I would however note that the NRA (and presumably most members of the NRA) opposes nearly any proposed regulation controlling the ownership and use of firearms. Al
