Who cares about how it was under saddam when we are discussing how it is today PAL. Saddam kept it in the bottle by cruely subduing shiaas and giving sunnis the power. Now we are headed to civil war, which is no solution to the old problem. Of course the civil war is worse now. There was none then. And yes the saddam oppression is gone. No one said that it wasnt but it was replaced by a regime that has failed and a deteriorating situation between shiaa and sunni PAL. Hawk, go watch some reruns. Maybe Iraq will turn out differently.
