He Ben. Thanks for the replies. At the moment, the only countervaling pressure I see against the overall trend of dollar weakness, is the breadth of foreign investments that Americans have built up, over the past 4 years. In a global recession Americans could potentially trigger a repatriation period, selling out all their Asian, European, and Emerg. Mkt holdings, and getting back into dollars. Of course, in such an event, foreigners would be selling the USD as well, at the same time. So as you can see, this is not much support net-net for the USD.

The USD is not in a good place. Especially after today's data.
