Oops, problem #1:

Estimates are that around $1.2 billion was given as aid to the PA last year.... Palestinians are the biggest per capita aid recipients in the world, even in a period when aid has supposedly been reduced.

Now the facts: Pals got cir $300/person.

No, you don't have the facts. The 1.2 billion in aid are the official estimates of governmental and NGO aid. I already posted the links on this thread. This 1.2 billion does NOT count the 300 billion + that goes to UNWRA, nor the Gulfie money that goes to Hamas and Fatah under the table and through Islamic charities, conservatively 100s of millions more.

The Pals in the territories are receiving well over 1.5 billion very conservatively estimated, to 2 to 3 million people. That's $500+ per person aid, not counting UNWRA and probably wildly underestimating the Gulf money.

Of course, it's not like the average person sees much of that.

There are now 7 million Israelis, so your figures need adjustment there too. The vast majority of US aid is cycled directly back to US defense contractors, which is why it's so strongly supported in Congress.

The rest of his article is the typical litany that Pals are beyond hope, so there is nothing we can do

Dealing with the Pals is like dealing with a drunk in the house. You can get nowhere if you keep pretending his behavior is just fine, all he needs is a bigger allowance. This is your program and the EU's; with predictable consequences so far.
