That's why tivo / DVR is great. I watch a 2 hour show in about 45 minutes. Watched the performances and what I thought was an elimination set-up, and skipped all the telethon stuff. I believe AI is going to suffer a bit for this stunt, imho. Jim

Starving kids in Africa were never my cup of tea as far as light entertainment goes, they could have given them the 5m without wasting a program on it. Can you say "Bono?" That was the reason for the show. They got Bono for little or nothing. He is totally gone on this subject. I am sure that when AI approached him, he said, "do an African Charity show." It's like getting Tiger Woods to show up at a Golf tourney. You let his charity get the receipts.
