Yes, I meant last week. I did have some long shares to cover with May 17.50 calls (to go with the sold May 12.50 puts). I did not cover all of the long shares (plus I didn't sell all of my long June 20 calls, which have lost over 50% of their value in the last week).

The stock is still pretty strong. I hope to be able to roll the May 17.50s out and up, but I will be glad to keep the premiums as long as the stock doesn't head below 15.

Jon, I thought you might be interested in this article on Nassim Taleb, which I found on one of the energy threads. Taleb only buys out of the money options, never writes them, because he's looking for the odd event that destroys option sellers like Niederhoffer.

I read Taleb's book "Fooled by Randomness" some time ago - it's one of those books that is too long even though it's fairly short. Taleb comes across as pompous and arrogant (he's a quant) but the article is a fun read.
