"What I see is revaporized LNG imports at about 42 bcf per year, less than 6% of stateside NG production." ????

What is that "42 bcf per year" number???

US imported ~88 bcf just in March 2007. The current lng import capacity is ~ 1.5 tcf/year and several tcf/year capacity is under construction.

"And the NG exporters are willing to accept all the US$ that 'several tcf/year' would imply??"

Why not? They are accepting all these US$ for 10 M barrel/day crude.
