Fair enough.

I'm just really mad at them for not being smart enough, or ballsy enough, or whatever, to see the problems sooner- and SCREAM about it. Every day, with every new batch of 100+ blown up Iraqis, and God knows how many murdered ones, and every week of new American deaths, and every week of the escalating price of this war, I get a little more angry. I'm ready to send the admin over there to the front lines. I think since they started the war, they ought to be encouraged to go lead the charges- on the front lines....

And they ought to get the same equipment (or lack thereof) as the troops.

I don't think Bush and co will end this, no matter what the UW of the world have to say. I think they'll just leave it for the dems to clean up. They are cowards at heart. It takes balls to clean up your own mess, and they are lacking those. They might have one undescended one amongst them.

I thought UW had given up posting. I stopped going to Bill's thread for the most part and thank you for bringing this up. You are 1000% right. I was trying to make sense out of the petreas remarks and then the tenet/cheney stuff and now the new Uncle. As long as cheney is there, i fear that nothing will change. We have a war to win with the islamists and it is being fought in many places as different as afganistan, iraq, and western europe. We turned into iraq into a central location for al quaeda. Best way to fight them may be for the US to leave and allow the shiaa militias, sunni tribal folks, kurds etc to focus on what could become the very vulnerable foreign force in iraq especailly if someone can separate the baathists and the thugs from them in some type of biden-like 3 region/confederation solution.
