Your views are so distorted by fear and hate that there's little use in talking to you. I don't know why neolib even bothers to try to remove the blinders. As I've said, the only response to most of the hysterical, long rebutted nonsense you're so eager to post is that it's been "debunked."

But you never run dry and I feel like exposing you in public.

You hoped to keep the Iraqis the helpless victim of a dictator who had already killed millions of them.

No, No, and No, in that order.

I hoped to stay out of Iraq...

The "helpless victim" Iraqis sure grew up fast and got a lot less helpless when we invaded and occupied, didn't they? Now why is that silly Nadine?

And how many "millions" of them did he kill according to "statistics by Nadine?" He must have been working full time. Was it ovens, firing squads, or poison? Where did he bury the millions of bodies?...Or maybe you were including the Iraqis that died in the war? Was that ongoing so that those "helpless victims" were still at risk?

You might verbally deplore it but taking any risks to stop it or him from taking over the Middle East was not your cup of tea.

I'm not so sure about that. I'd rather have had him take over the Middle East and deal with that than have America do it. But that wasn't really the choice, was it? He couldn't defeat Iran with our help, do you think he was going to take over the whole Middle East with our opposition?

Now you advocate handing the Mideast and half the oil on the globe to Al Qaeda.

Sure Nadine, that's what I want. And it's so likely too. The whole Middle East and all their cultures will fall to that nasty little group Al Qaeda if we don't keep killing Iraqis, spending the lives of our soldiers, bankrupt our treasure and break our military. What was I thinking?

But the resulting bloodbath will be none of your fault. Your hands are clean.

Thank you. On the other hand the CURRENT bloodbath is on my hands as well as yours. My government has acted wrongly and my only option is to exercise my voice and my vote. I suspect I'm a lot less dirty handed than Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, the Congress and YOU. You, the queen of panic, purveyor of hate and distorter of facts in order to cheerlead a miserable war.

Let me repeat myself; "You all better hope there's no heaven and hell cause if there is you'll have an eternity to contemplate the "goodness" of causing the violent deaths of hundreds of thousands of men, women and children who died violently in a needless, senseless and futile war in Iraq." Ed

You hoped to keep the Iraqis the helpless victim of a dictator who had already killed millions of them.

No one "hoped for" that, Nadine. The problem was always, how to get rid of him without creating an even worse situation. Your side opted for military means without figuring out what to do after he was gone. You were told this before the war ever started. Everyone insisted Bush et al had a "plan," remember? None of Saddam's neighbors supported this war, they all feared it would lead to exactly what it has led to. Instead, you knew better--you decided to interpret their misgivings about it as fear of democracy, fear that their power would be undercut by the glowing example of Iraq.

Now you advocate handing the Mideast and half the oil on the globe to Al Qaeda. But the resulting bloodbath will be none of your fault. Your hands are clean.

Al Qaeda will not take over Iraq. End of story. They aren't welcome there, they will never be welcome there. Anymore than they would be welcome in Iran. Now, Saudi Arabia is another story. I don't know if they can take over in SA. From what I read, they have a lot of sympathizers there. Of course, you will want to blame that on no goodnik peaceniks. What complete nonsense. Don't you ever reflect on your past utterances, predictions, explanations and beliefs and then check them against reality? Against what really happened? Against what people really said?

Al Qaeda are allies of convenience for some of the Sunni factions because WE are there. Once we're gone, Al Qaeda will just be the only other foreign meddlers in sight, and will be dealt with swiftly by the same locals that give them cover to fight us.
