Bottom line is that they aren't a Republican organization, they endorse pro-gun Dems, too. Sadly, those are few and far between. In some parts of the country the last part of that statement is pure bull. If the NRA can do no better than pump what the local life members are pumping, and those members are hurting strong protectors of the second amendment, then why the heck donate money to them? Either you support the strongest defender of the second - or your agenda is somewhere else. To suggest that agenda is set by some life members - when they may not represent the second amendment - is irresponsible. No better example of what I mean is the result of the last election. Do you want to give up your second amendment rights if democrats gain control of all branches of power? I don't! But then I'm more of a libertarian. I want the government out of my life on ALL things. I like all freedoms - not just those picked out by the right........or left. steve
