Its a good point but the distrust does not alsays have to lead to civil war either. Most iraqis want the same good life we want. They are inundated with corrupt baathists, fanatical terrorists, & crazy shiaa sheiks all with their own agendas but most folks want peace and prosperity or a chicken in every pot. We cant provide that for them. They may have to fight off the most dangerous and create some sort of workable arrangement. As i said in an earlier post, you can add the US to list of folks who create trouble, even though ours is unintended.
