Unfortunately, we broke it, so the problem is now ours. The democrats who supported the liberation of Iraq and the War On Terror that now use it as a political pawn to gain power in the short run are nothing more than pathetic. There are a handful of honest people who always had their heads in the sand, but not many. Most of these people are either committed peaceniks or committed partisans who will resist supporting any Republican, ever; even if they have a common goal. Remind us of what the vote in the Senate was immediately prior to Senators having to face the voters of their districts in 2004? Your reply suggests that you neglected to read the linked article.
