You mean like W after the "Bin Laden determined to attack" briefing of 8/6/01? Then after bin Laden actually attacked, he immediately set the wheels turning to get the war of his heart's desire in Iraq, which has worked out real well for all involved. W's war has PREVENTED what, exactly? The cost has obviously been enormous, the benefit is pretty obscure. Or are you thinking of somebody else?
