I was able to open the printer and have the little ink thing to stop ..(:)

I also went into the site for ordering replacements. Mine are very inexpensive...3.95.cents so I am ordering.. HOWEVER.

My sister just found out she needs both color and black too.
She has an HP deskjet... 842C... and the color one is 15 and 17.

Now the guy from computer medic who was here the other day to see whether my fan was working properly said her computer could not use a ink replacement but that she needed to buy a proprietary.. Is this true as we were going to order from the Super store you listed and have the cartridges mailed together.

Thanks for you and to all who replied in helping resolve this printer problem. With computers it's always something...

Thank you for that web site. Although they do not pay postage my sister ordered two cartridges and I ordered two and it was only five bucks.

Nice web site but hard to reach by phone. They disconnected us twice.
