It is hard to say. To me, it says that there is growing recognition that polarizing the country is a bad thing. But that plays to my preconceptions.

As a country, we are at our greatest when we have the vast majority of people buying in. When we have just a slim majority, there is waffling and backbiting. And nothing good gets done.

There is some truth to that. Even Rush grudgingly admitted that he "respected" Obama yesterday (that won't stop him from bashing him today). But respect from Reps won't help him get the Dem nomination.

Should be an interesting election cycle.
