There are idiots on the left so stupid that you will prefer the company of "mindless patriots".

Michael, what was the last war the "idiots on the left [who are] so stupid" led us into? And have you thought about whether it was "idiots on the left" or "mindless patriots" on the right who turned this country from the world's greatest creditor by far into the world's greatest debtor by far? Can you tell me what the mindless patriots have done for this country besides perhaps standing up tall for the flag when the Star Spangled Banner is played and screaming a lot about the traitors who don't support the troops or the country? Hell, looking at the patriots in Congress, most of them that I know of never even served in the Armed Forces (and, no, I don't count the Reserve during Vietnam, sorry--we're both old enough to know why people did that back then, give me a break; and we both know how Bush got into it; and let's not mention all the people who supported that war but "had better things to do with" their time than serve in a war they allegedly supported).

I have a hard time with mindless patriots. A very hard time. I know the rhetoric from the left can be irritating and inflammatory, I know that quite well. But, frankly, I don't think that in general it holds a candle to the right.
