I would agree with you about the view of Mormons by Christians. Even the moderate churches I have attended would not consider them true CHristians and believe they are cultlike.
They do however, respect a lot of their family values and discipline. But I don't believe that those who base a vote primarily on religion (like the Moral Majority) will find a Mormon at all acceptable.

As for good-looking, a lot of women thought George was handsome, too. If that truly is a consideration, I am embarrassed for us! Surely we can dig a bit deeper than that.

Evangys dont consider many other christians to be real christians. But that has not stopped them from supporting others as disparate as Lieberman to Catholic conservatives. Sharpton isnt an evangy, just a bigot and he would never be able to vote for Mitt because he is mormon alone. Thats what makes this a bit different imo.
