Yes....Cheney's comments had to send a chill up the spine of every Republican running next year who wants to believe that the President and Vice-President actually care about the future of the republican party.

The way things stand now, (horrors of horrors), you could have a Democratic President and both houses of Congress in Democratic hands....maybe with majorities that could overcome most tools available for the minority (although that would require a real collapse by the GOP next year).

That would please me not at all! And yet, right now Democratic one party rule is more likely than not!
