The officer came over to our house at 7:55 am and showed the confession to my husband. I was too busy snoring loud enough to wake everyone but the dead so I wasn't able to talk with the officer personally.<g>

The cop got lucky, didn't he? ROFLOL

Also, I believe he'll be leaving the neighborhood soon. I can't imagine him staying here. Houses on the golf course go at a premium and he's gonna need the money for his defense.

If you live on a golf course, you usually have to sign a release against the club, don't you? We did when we lived on one and Robyn had to when she moved to her neighborhood..Speaking of which, she had a window broken by a golf ball in her kitchen today..that's the perils.

How did the cop get the guy to confess?

Assuming the guy does not have a criminal history, a suspended sentence and a fine following a guilty plea are the likely results. He may well be required to pay restitution for the doctor bills as part of any plea agreement.

I can't imagine he'd want to continue living in the neighborhood.
