I think a dem will win in 08. But I also would be ok with Romney or Guiliani. Basically I think Bush and the "Bush team" are really ignorant people, the ideology is not the only thing wrong with Bush- if you look at his history he has NEVER had any individual successes in his life- ever. Romney otoh is a tremendously successful manager. It may be a long time before the GOP can recover from the right wing hijacking of the Republican Party. I can somewhat agree with your position on Romney, but the more you know about Guiliani, the less you are likely to like him. A lot of people do not like Guiliani. His personal life is a mess. His kids don't like him, their mother, and a lot of New Yorkers don't like him either. In fact former NY Mayor Ed Koch will campaign vigorously against him. In his words, Mayor Koch thinks Guiliani is an extreme control freak. He really did not do a good job beng a mayor of NY.
