"Even more, it depends on whether you drive an intelligent vehicle or not."

Nope. Not for me. I live/work near the beach. Bars, restaurants, grocery stores, farmers market, libraries, public transportation all within walking distance.

It isn't the mpg.; for me it's the miles driven/yr.

It isn't about vehicles that are intelligent or not.

For some, cost per mile is important. For others, there are other considerations.

You can't pull a boat with Prius and if you like to joust with semi's, give us a crash protection report. If semi's were few and far between, perhaps the risk might be worth it. Last I checked, semi's don't drive slowly and there more every day. Heck, one tire blow-out and the Prius is crushed beer can. Of course, the guy was saving a buck.

Cheap thrills? Not for me, thank you.
