I know that hundreds of thousands of illegals cross our southern border every year. AQ knows it too. Our northern border is even less well defended. If an illegal can cross, so could a suicide bomber with his bomb vest. So could 100 bombers. To explode in crowds, say at the premiere of "Spiderman III" or some other summer blockbuster, all on the same day? Why AQ hasn't done this, you'd have to ask them, but it's not Iraq, and it's not Bush's "war on terror". It's not the expense or difficulty, because it's not expensive or difficult. The only reason I can think of is they don't want to make Bush seem like a total failure - he's been such a boon for them!
