I don't believe that is required. I think you can be successful, have material things, have the "dreaded" wealth and still be a Christian. I do not think being Christian and having money are mutually exclusive. Do I think being a good steward is required? Absolutely. Was he? I don't know. I do not like Evangelists on TV and I do not watch any of them except Joyce Meyer. She is local to me and extremely wealthy. Right or wrong? Dunno. She is responsible to God for the stewardship of that money. That is who she will answer to, not you or I. Any of our criticism is comparable to a fly buzzing around them. They know the scripture. They know their responsibility as a highly successful preacher. The choice it theirs.
