and again you are using the weakly standard as a source. Sure i am sure there are many iranians, perhaps most whose islamic belief is closer to sistani. But lets not make a big deal about that like the weakly standard made when they were predicting the students would overthrow the ayotollahs. We didnt get that at all, did we? We got ahmadinijad instead.

The growing popularity of Sistani in Iraq and SCIRI's decision to drop "revolution" from their title are encouraging signs.

I wish we had been putting much more economic pressure on Iran for a long time. The replacement of Ahmadinejad's government by Iranians would be the best thing that could happen.
