Suggest to listen to what AMD is telling you instead: the Griffin core* is transistor-for-transistor the same as Turion X2, NOT "dervied" from it.* So has their new mobile core project fallen apart like virtually everything else? And this is the fallback/retreat?

I'd suggest to you and SYH that an MPU doesn't just consist of a core. The platform is very important, as has been shown with Centrino. And that it's very rude to belittle someone's error in language by emulating it rather than writing correctly.

I understood jav's question indicating the latter - that's why i offered a suggestion. Needless to say, he is free to follow yours instead.
