I have been doing this FP analysis stuff all my life, albeit with imperfect information and intel. In my heads its a game where i try to protect the interests and wellbeing of the US. Back in the 60s and 70s we exploited the sino-soviet split with great results---commie/cap china and for awhile free and dem russia. I see us in iraq getting shot at by all sides. Uncle Shmuck we certainly seem to be. Its getting to the point where in order to neutralize this combined shiaa radical and al quaeda enemy, we need to do some creative shit. Purely hypothetically, which group saudi-wahabi-fundamentalists-al quaeda OR ayotoallahs in iran offer us more leverage. Do we need to stop iran nukes more than bin laden if we cant stop both? What do you think?
