Who is the greater threat to the US? Iran and its nuke development and push into the Mideast OR the queda/wahabi/taliban/Saudi-wababi terror nexus?? This may ultimately be the $64 question the US has to answer since i dont believe we can fight them both effectively at the same time. Either we need to get them to fight each other which may happen when we leave iraq OR we may need to "befriend" one side and not always be the common enemy.

We are getting the continuation of Musharaf's leadership and his/Pakistan's alliance with us. When/if he is brought down that relationship with us could go south.
