Some of the folks at Gitmo were combatants in afganistan. That does not automatically make them the same as mohammed attah for example. Thats my interpetation of what kumar says. To call someone a barbarian, we must have proof of his action so a blanket statemnt on gitmo does not meet that test.

I just would like to understand his thought process...it might keep me from getting booted... Its very simple : no derogatory terms on this thread. there are ways to express an opinion without using derogatory terms. If you happen to use something that I consider derogatory, you will be notified to desist first. I dont like booting participants off. Out of 600+ posts I found 3 to be not acceptable language, and of the 3, 1 is under suspension which comes off on Tuesday night PDT. I think the participants here are doing a great job of expressing their opinions without use of inappropriate language.
