The people who come to destroy the US, or the "Americans, Jews and Christians" mostly don't come from a particular country. They come from a monotheist fundamental 7th century religious belief system. They don't live in any one country. They live on this earth in various places They destroy anyone anywhere that stands in their way of having the entire world under their belief system. Therefore I do not believe that we EVER will become that kind of enemy that we started out to stand against. The US supports all religions and belief systems, as long as they do not try to undermine/destroy our Government, and kill civilians. "At what point would you declare, we have become the enemy we started out to stand against?"
