Michael, we do NOT know if the Iraqi democracy experiment has failed ....and we won't know for many years.

Just heard a speech Saturday night given by a FBI Sr person with military background, who spent the last year and a half in Iraq. There is much she could not tell us, but she could tell us we are not getting the correct story by the media. There is much good being done there...she saw it every day. There are documents that have been translated, and many more that have not been translated yet, but the ones that have are telling a story. Many are signed by Saddam. People will be surprised. We can now document, because of the found papers, just how little infrastructure there actually was when our troops reached Baghdad and all the cities in Iraq. Saddam took care of a relative FEW of the 8+ million in Baghdad and not much at all in any other place in Iraq.
