A lot of Bull, one is they don't have to pay 5k nor go back. they can stay here and become legal, they just can't be citizens. Which means what ??? they get welfare, medicine , everything a citizen gets except the right to vote. Big deal. In a couple of years they will change that also.

Agreed, seems to me changing something so fundamental as the sanctity of our borders and the makeup of our nation OUGHT to require something as tough as say a Constitutional amendment as that in effect is what it is. Politicians always try to take something simple and make it complicated. SIMPLICITY is that we have DEFINED BORDERS and its the FEDERAL govts responsability to SEE THAT THEY ARE ENFORCED. Instead the IGNORE their JOB and then wish to make everyone who VIOLATED our borders ILLEGALLY, LEGAL. DISGUSTING. jdn
