I don't question the availability of technology. I do question who wants to pay for it and how it would be run. The Realtors are paying for it now, with the dollars they earn from buyers and sellers.

When the buyers and sellers have to start paying to use the system (which has to be supported with dollars from SOMEWHERE)....well, that will be another story.
