My problem is that I have not mastered the art of taking profits.

You are not alone. The old adage that it is not when you buy the stock, but when to sell the stock. I wish I can master that. I am doing well when to close the position on options, but not stock, and the main reason is that I pay more attention to my exposure of derivatives.

This is something I've gotten very good at. Learned it from some professional traders.

It's one of the things covered on the Strictly Buy and Sell Set Ups thread, almost daily.

Value plays - Etruscan Resources (gold)

Is this one a great short term value/technical buy?
Should be good for a very short term 10% pop, IMO.

Great fundamentals.
One gold mine in production (still reaching payout on capex so all profits go to JV operator).
One mine under construction (100% EET) with start-up on schedule for next month.
Several drills turning in several countries.
Largest West African gold land holdings of any company.

Stock has been engineered down in the past few days IMO:

EET now waaay oversold.

Look at the graph below to see what happens every single time EET hits this level, breaking down sharply below the bollinger bands concurrent with a STO below 20.
Chaikin money flow is still in the green today.
There was a big 250K share trade and a 50K Sprott cross at the low of the week. The stock immediately recovered 10c right after the cross.

Incidentally, the Etruscan AGM was today and Jay Taylor reiterated his "buy" recommendation on Etruscan yesterday, with a target of $6.60.

Thoughts?
