Hi Neolib. Regarding; "One wonders whether AQ as made the obvious observation that US soldiers MIA has a significantly different tactical effect than US soldiers KIA." If they haven't before, they must have by now. It's amazing how much publicity that gave them. They showed strength, we showed weakness. It presented us as an impotent force unable to recover our soldiers even though we used all of the assets available to us. And that's the reality over there. Those fighting against us have the support of a committed percentage of the population while we can only go out in numbers or risk torture and death. Why we want to play the other guy's deadly game for a people that are not willing to stand up for what we offer is beyond me, especially when the "war" is so costly in terms of American lives, treasure and interests.
