"They didn't passively accept squat under Saddam Hussein. If they had, he wouldn't have had to massacre 300,000 people + and dump them in mass graves. I don't CLAIM Saddam Hussein's rule was much worse - it WAS much worse."

I wonder where PBS gets those Iraqis saying that as much as they hated Saddam, their lives were much better under his rule?

I wonder why the Iraqis didn't try Saddam Hussein for killing 300,000 people and burying them in mass graves?

I wonder when you decided that the people killing in Iraq are Sunni insurgents rather than foreign fighters?

I wonder why you think the Sunnis are so adamantly opposed to "majority rule" by a majority of Shiites? Could their fierce opposition be justified?

I wonder why so many Shiites are opposed to the American presence, to the point where our government has to pacify them so that they don't explode against us in extreme violence?

And yes, I still wonder why those tough Iraqis weren't successful in ridding themselves of the "mass murderer Saddam." Maybe they didn't hate him as much as they "hate freedom?" Ed
