That seems realistic from the way China is shaping up.

That's certainly a possibility, but China has had a long relationship with Pakistan. However, they know where their bread is buttered as well, when it comes to securing oil supplies. So I certainly see Chinese support for Iran against Pakistan.

I would hope that we were smart enough to recognize we have no interest in seeing Pakistan making moves on PG oil and would inform our Saudi "allies" accordingly. Perhaps reminding them that most of SA's oil fields lie in Shi'a dominated parts of SA.
