I understand the difference between faith in the eternity of my soul vs loyalty to religious or social authority. You don't seem get it but that's OK; that puts you in the popular 98%tile group, who is loyal to whatever your authority told you was the good guy thing.

Faith in God is a good thing. Subjugation to corrupt authority is a bad thing. I always say that.
